To provide Her Majesty's Prison Service (HMPS) with greater visibility and control of critical operations, EDS, now HP, helped HMPS develop a comprehensive, centralised system for finance, human resources and procurement. EDS developed a shared services system that has dramatically improved productivity, processes and financial control across the organisation, while delivering a projected, cumulative net benefit of $190.8 million over the lifetime of the project.
